Twelve is a big one: the last birthday before the teen years. For this 12th birthday celebration at Hudson Table in Hoboken, NJ, we created towering pink and gold balloon room accents that filled the space with color, framed the party area, and gave the birthday girl a photo backdrop to remember.
The Setup: Towering Pink Balloon Room Accents
Hudson Table is a culinary event space, so the room already has a warm, social feel. Our job was to make it unmistakably a birthday party without crowding the tables or the kitchen area. Instead of one large backdrop, we built tall balloon arrangements as room accents. They draw the eye upward, fill vertical space, and look great in photos from any angle.
Each arrangement was built from all-pink latex balloons in clustered, organic layers, then finished with 40″ gold number balloons spelling out “12” and 36″ gold confetti balloons for sparkle. Keeping the latex to one color let the gold pieces stand out, and the room read as polished rather than busy.
