When the Fair Lawn High School Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner came together at The Graycliff in Moonachie, NJ, our team brought red, white and gray balloon centerpieces to every table in the ballroom. A Hall of Fame night honors years of hard work, so the room needed to feel like a celebration from the moment guests walked in.
The Venue: The Graycliff Ballroom in Moonachie, NJ
The Graycliff is one of Bergen County’s best-known banquet halls, just minutes from Carlstadt, Little Ferry, East Rutherford and Hackensack, and a short drive from Fair Lawn. Its main ballroom already has plenty of sparkle: crystal chandeliers, mirrored walls, marble floors and gold chiavari chairs.
In a room this big and this bright, small table décor can disappear. Balloon centerpieces add height and color at eye level, so every table, from the front row to the back of the room, feels part of the celebration. Compare the two photos above: same room, same tables, very different energy.
Red, White and Gray Balloon Centerpieces to Match the Room
The Graycliff dressed the tables in white linens with red napkins, and its signature plates carry the venue name in deep red. We built the balloon palette around those details: classic red, crisp white and soft gray balloons in tall table bouquets, each one anchored at the center of the table and floating above the place settings.
Tall balloon centerpieces have a practical benefit at a dinner with speeches and awards: the balloons float well above head height, so guests can still see each other across the table and watch the honorees at the podium.
