We were proud to create the grand opening balloon decor for the new Nordstrom Rack at Interstate Shopping Center, 225 Interstate Shopping Center, Ramsey, NJ 07446. For one store opening we decorated the entrance twice: balloon columns for the Pre-Opening Shopping Party, then a full balloon arch installed at 6 AM for Grand Opening day.

Pre-Opening Balloon Columns at Interstate Shopping Center
For the Pre-Opening Shopping Party on Tuesday, October 6, we framed the front doors with a pair of towering, organic-style balloon columns. Each column mixes chrome blue, teal, pearl light blue, black and white balloons in different sizes, topped with an oversized white balloon. Because the columns stood outside, each one was securely supported to keep it steady. The palette matches Nordstrom Rack’s bright blue window graphics, so the columns look like part of the brand rather than an add-on.
Balloon columns work well for a pre-opening, soft launch or VIP preview night. They take up very little sidewalk space and frame a doorway without blocking it. For outdoor columns, secure support is part of the build.
30 ft Grand Opening Balloon Arch, Installed at 6 AM
On opening morning our team arrived at Interstate Shopping Center and installed the balloon arch at 6 AM, so it was in place before the doors opened. The 30 ft arch framed the entrance into the store, designed in Nordstrom Rack’s branded colors: royal blue, teal, pearl light blue, white and black in a classic spiral.
Retail openings often mean early-morning installs. We plan the setup time around your doors-open time, the parking lot and the entrance layout, so your staff can focus on customers.
